Who invented the Air Conditioner?

Modern Air Conditioner Invention was done in 1902 by Willis Haviland Carrier, who was an Engineer in Brooklyn, New York. While working on a problem with a publishing company, he was trying to control the humidity of a room. He applied his knowledge of steam heating coils, which was already invented. Instead of hot stem coils, he reversed the process and used cold water coils. In his system, the air from the room was passed through the cold water coils. This not only cooled the air but also reduced the humidity. Air Conditioner Invention was therefore credited to Willis. This design was built and operational on 17 July 1902.

Willis Haviland Carrier was a graduate from Cornell University and working with Buffalo Forge Company when he began these experiments with air conditioning. He is known as the Father of air conditioning.
